Saying "yes" to "felony"

So l decided to put a GMRS radio in my jeep, bought everything to do so, radio,antenna, mounts, ect... not installed yet. So I put in my application for a license and the felony question pops up so I answered it honestly (l have a felony from 36 years ago, found passed out in someone's vehicle and it gets declared a burglary). So now my application is "pending", my question is should I even bother to install everything in my jeep?
